UITSO office will perform patentability search
UITSO office will schedule a meeting to discuss the result of the patentability search and also discuss the follow thru action if the Inventor will proceed with Drafting.
UITSO will draft a complete patent document.
UITSO will send the draft for correction and approval.
Once Approved, UITSO will file the Drafted Document to IPOPHIL.

Submit IP Disclosure Form to uitso@mmsu.edu.ph together with the notarized Deed of Assignment if Applicable.
UITSO will reply to the client's email the additional requirements if incomplete or the Statement of Account (SOA) If all the document submitted to the office are complete.
The Client will pay for the Fees stated in the SOA.
UITSO will send the Filing confirmation to the Client.
UITSO will send the Certificate from IPOPHIL when granted.
Secure Certification from the IMD.

Submit the Notarized "Deed of Assignment and Royalty Agreement" with 5 photocopies of Government Issued ID to UITSO office (CRL Building-Research Directorate)
UITSO will reply to the client's email the additional requirements if incomplete.
UITSO will file the Submitted documents to IPOPHIL.
UITSO and IMD will process the payment.
UITSO will update the client on every progress of the filing thru the email used in the submmission of the documents
UITSO will send the Certificate from IPOPHIL to the client and University Press when granted.
The Technology Adaptor, or the Technology Generator will request for an Initial Negotiation meeting with UITSO.
The UITSO will draft a TLA and other Documentary requirements for the Fairness Opinion Report of the DOST.
The UITSO will draft the Final TLA based on the result of the Fairness Opinion Report.
